Oh, What Fun We Had in Week One!

We made it through the first "week" of school!! What a wonderful week it was! This week was spent practicing procedures, modeling expectations, and community building games. We spent time practicing our greetings, learning each other's names, rotating through workshop, and interviewing for community jobs. I was also able to hear each one of your first graders read and/or show me sounds they know! It's going to be a wonderful year!

The first quarter+ of school we will be sitting in vertical family groups.
Each family group has about 8 learners in it.
These family groups are broken down into groups with two friends in each.
These groups of two will share everything, collaborate to create,
and teach each other new things.
