We revisited the valuable lesson of doing our best, working with excellence and not perfection. As our academics get more challenging and first grade gets "real" we must encourage our little brains. We must reassure them that mistakes promote growth and attitude counts more than academics. We must encourage, uplift, and celebrate our learners if only to inspire them towards education for the rest of their lives! It is my hearts desire that your children leave school each day feeling enriched, inspired, and most of all loved.

I can't keep these kids inside all day when there are plenty of lessons to learn outside! With Fall in full view, we took a little nature walk in search of turning leaves. We used our senses to study our leaves and put our new knowledge of adjectives to the test as we wrote discribing sentences!Fall Pictures

Sometimes we just need candy. Yep, you just heard that from Mrs. Vegetable Kime. Wednesday was just one of those days where we needed to take a minute and celebrate how far we have come in these short eight weeks. Yes. I too ate a piece of chocolate. We took a party break, ate candy, danced, and watched a magic school bus episode on the rainforest. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
You can see the anticipation!!!!!
